she sat in the corner all alone
people stared and laughed as if she was a midnight comedy movie
          	mother physicodic father a drunk
bruises on her back like she was a punching bag
scratches and scars on her face as if she was in the middle of a cat fight
          	children called her ugly
speechless like a mime she wasn't able to stand up for herself
she feels worthless like a closet full of ripped clothes
          	broken like shattered glass
take a second, step into her shoes
          	how do you feel?
worthless like a pencil with no lead
speechless like you have no voice
broken & useless like a broken umbrella in the rain?
you'd run inside to grab a new umbrella
she walks outside im the rain
she takes your harsh words compiling them in her mind like a dictionary
you can't take back the words like writing in sharpie on a blank white page
the harsh words are programmed in her mind like a computer
          	the bruises will heal
          	scars may fade
but the damage of the words swirling inside her mind will never go away
