It’s pretty cool for a first book. I think you could really get somewhere with it - just be careful not to be under-descriptive and don’t tell the story too fast. Every writer is guilty of it, and I know it’s your first story so just take it from me. Drag the story out, give people those cliffhangers. It draws them in. If you check out my book “Drift” (shameless self-plug) you’ll see that it takes my two protagonists freaking 26 chapters or something to even kiss. Please do check it out! ❤️

@Kelseyal I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the kind words! :D I can't wait to go back and edit it. I plan to add at least another 20k words. So there will definitely be scenes you haven't seen before to hopefully make it a bit more dramatic and maybe even a little darker.
