@fairyfree Hey! Don't feel the need to thank me for the votes! I feel like votes are the least a person can do for a book they enjoyed.
I love the story overall. Like seriously, if it were published, I would have paid for it--still will!

It reminds me of the stories that first got me into fantasy, and you have no idea how happy I was when I started reading it.
Its much more adult in the fact that everyone has their own motives and it wasnt just evil and good. but it still gave me that sense of wonder and magic as i read it. So...thank you for that. For a few days, I got to feel like a kid again. When you update, i'll get to feel it again.
The characters seem real, and I love Adara and Aria, they both remind me of Eponi a lot.
I was so in love with Layin, and was sad to see him go. I enjoyed the flow, the backstory on Adara , Ella, etc was so interesting! Like I love how human the characters all seem. The main protagonist isn't just evil. Like everyone had their own motives and I love that.

Also, I love the diversity of course. It was definitely not unnoticed to see a heroine that looks like me. It makes me happy that she was a woman of color, but in the story there was no real color. Like there weren't any black/white/asian/european/ african/mexican or any of the other devisors we use on ourselves in the real world--as I generally think it should be in high fantasy.
