I'm going to have to post this in two parts, but I need yall's opinion on my writing now. I'm still on WoF, dunno if anyone still likes it around here, but yeah.
          --
“Moonwatcher! Remember to be careful, and reminder that your friends can always come visit me!” Secretkeeper yelled from the kitchen. Her eyes were dulled, but she looked fond of her daughter heading outwards.

“I’ll keep that in mind!” Moonwatcher yelled back, struggling to keep her laughter hidden. They were going to chase a storm! And her friends would come back after, and eat dinner like a damn buffet at Moon’s place. As long as Winter kept everything correct, and nothing went wrong, at least.

The dragonet headed outwards, due west, meeting Qibli, Winter, Kinkajou, Carnelian, Turtle and her father, Nova. The group was ready, setting up and arranging people who would carry what. Moonwatcher would carry the panels, Qibli would carry the bin of sulfur iodine, Kinkajou bringing the necessary foods and drinks, Turtle bringing the rest of the chemicals, and Nova and Carnelian bringing up the rear.

“Let’s knock this sand out of the air!” Kinkajou yelled.

Morale up, all energized, the dragonets headed for the small storm that was hiding, slowly building up speed. Eventually, at around roughly one thousand-two hundred feet away from the storm, it blew up, winds whipping the wings of each of the dragonets.

“Set up the panels here, we’ll lay the iodine here and make sure it’s in place! We want this thing to be mapped out!” Moonwatcher said, the storm now nine-hundred feet away from the group.

“C’mon! Hurry!” Qibli yelled, the storm was now starting to yank on the group, and it wasn’t helping. Everything was ready. Now they just needed to time it right, or they were going to be sushi.

I'll put part two in the comments of this.

Continuation:

The winds got worse, slapping the dragonets in the face. Five hundred feet. The group tried to push backwards as the storm threw them around. The chemicals lifted, into the air, but didn’t seem to do anything.

With no hesitation, the storm had snatched Kinkajou, her voice ending shrill, before it was ripped away like strings on a harp. Sand stung eyes, Dragons were panicking, it was chaos. Nothing was going to plan..none of it!

“Come on!” Nova cried, the remaining 4 of them were heading for the bridge that connected the two trade routes between SandWings and NightWings. Clawing their way under, the 4 attempted to stay together. Carnliean’s weight was feathers compared to the storm as before she could make it under the bridge, a pile of sand and weeds slammed into her, pushing Carnliean into the winds, and just like that, she was gone.

“You guys need to get out of there! Kinkajou? Moonwatcher? Qibli?” Winter yelled into the air. No one replied back. Their lives were in danger.

Qibli screamed, managing to get into the crevice of the bridge. What was happening? This wasn’t supposed to happen! None of it was! This was supposed to be an outing. How did the storm get worse??!

Nova wrapped a massive wing around Moonwatcher, pulling her into the crevice and putting himself over his daughter. His weight kept her safe, so far. The storm roared in their ears.

“We’re gonna be okay! You hear me! W-” Nova tore off of Moonwatcher, his body slamming into the sandstone before going limp. His lack of warmth leaving her cold and clammy. She shrieked, letting the whole world hear her. Meanwhile, Qibli dug his claws into the sandstone, trying to stay as close to the floor of the crevice as much as possible.

Carnage ensured, the two remaining dragonets practically traumatized. Moonwatcher started sliding, her talons slicing into the stone below her with ease that she didn’t want. Her claws desperately scrambling for purchase on the rock below her.
