I have a question, that you don’t have to answer but, was it just Hylia that created the Master Sword, or did the first sages help?
I’m confused because I think the former, but my dad thinks the latter
Short answer: Hylia created the Goddess Sword, as stated by Fi. It’s implied the sages helped her.
Longer answer:
It was stated in A Link to the Past that it was the sages that forged it the Master Sword, but Nintendo being Nintendo, they retconned that for Skyward Sword. In Skyward Sword it’s stated that the Goddess Sword (which becomes the Master Sword) was created by her.
However, also in skyward sword you can see on the broken roof of the sealed temple the emblems of the sages. So, they were there during Hylias time.
It’s heavily theorized that while Hylia was the main creator of the goddess sword, the sages helped her make it.
Sorry for the lack of posts recently everyone. I meant to have some stuff ready to post while on my "break". Not really a break when you're writing other stuff and working on Zelda Youtube audioplays, but you know what I mean.
I am in that state of having finished writing a literal million word story, and it feels...weird. And now I'm looking at the next two book ideas like "shoot... It's time to do it again. Can I do this? Was it a fluke that I was able to do it before?"
I will do this, 100% but I just need to kinda mentally fortify myself again lmao. I will post some writing as soon as I get the YouTube ZeLink series under control. I have some cool stuff coming for that.

@Kenlair I loved it! Can’t wait for the next one. I really enjoy the way you have been transitioning your story into Tears of the Kingdom. The way you explained the Master Sword being weak and everything was really well thought out. I’m hyped for 92! Maybe Link will become a blacksmith one day like his dad
The original Chapter 12 of CotW (the current posted one) is 2k words long. The rewrite of 12 is currently at 6k, and I still have one more big scene to write.

Side now, while writing this, I brought out the TotK sound track. I'm in my transition phase from listening to pure BotW music to stay focused on that era, to my soon to be TotK era of writing. The start is happeningggg
@Origin2173 Yes! That will return, it happened a little earlier in the original, but I'm changing its placement up! Link will give Zelda her paraglider just like he did before, it just hasn't happened in the rewrite yet. The one curse of rewriting a fic: some things tart getting moved around and it looks forgotten when its not all done yet lmao
@Kenlair One of the things that I noticed were missing in one of the first chapters of CotW was the moment when Link finished Zelda’s paraglider & surprised her with it before setting out on their journey across Hyrule. Do you intend to include that moment while you are rewriting the chapters?
