Avon is allowing open submissions to unpublished, unagented manuscripts. I'm thinking of taking The Witch's Alpha down for a bit and submitting it. I've done a quick spell check and grammar check edit and word count, but it's only around 49k words. The requirements say it needs to be a full length, 75k-85k finished novel, which means I need to add and edit before September 15th if I'm to do this. What do you all think? Should I try and add and submit, or should I leave well enough alone and leave it here only?
Lemme know what y'all think.

@KeraMorton ... I only just discovered your book and haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I do think that it never hurts to try. You never know what will happen. One other option is that you can leave the version you have already published up as the "unedited" version and make the changes just to the one that you would submit. A lot of the publishers sometimes allow the writers to leave the "unedited" versions up as long as they add a few "extras" into the one submitted to them. I also know of some writers that have also changed the title of one or the other book. Of course, that's only if you want to leave the book up for you readers to still read. Hope this helped you make your decision. I look forward to reading your book if you choose to leave it up. Also, I wish you luck and success if you choose to submit it also. :)

Even after all these years, (gah! It's already been years since I've written The Witch's Alpha. ) I still get a warm tingly in my chest when I get notifications y'all are still reading my stories and commenting and voting on them. Y'all are amazing. Everyone have a happy and merry Christmas, Hanukkah Kwanzaa, whatever. Happy holidays y'all.
Oh, and I'm still trying to work on new stories, I've just had a rough couple years. Hopefully, whoever put the bad juju on my family is satisfied now and will lift it.

On a side note: perhaps there's an underlying issue with your significant other if there's drama just because of a piece of imagination. Don't blame me on y'alls faults.
Have a nice day.

@AlyssamaeDerickson I'm sorry. I didn't realize you had a copy write on the name "Alyssa Derrickson". Seeing as your handle is "AlyssamaeDerrickson" and not JUST "AlyssaDerrickson" I don't see how you can claim her name is yours. But seeing as The Witch's Alpha is a total and complete work of fiction, any other similarities between you two is purely coincidental. Trust me, hun, if I HAD based her on anyone, she'd have been based on someone I admire and who was open minded enough to let others practice whatever religion they choose, even if it wasn't their own. If you don't like my stories, please, feel free to NOT read them. Simple as that, dear.

@Cleomp lol I've got several started chapters, just none that are ready to be finished, so I'm working on it!

I've got some stories rambling around in my brain, and the characters are starting to talk to me again... Might hafta put their words down in print. Who would want that?
KeraMorton
@ChubbzDubbz Thank you! I'm so glad you liked both stories. It always makes me grin, ear to ear, when readers let me know I've made them laugh and cry with me. Hopefully, more characters will speak to me and tell me their stories for me to pass along to y'all, and we can laugh and cry with them too. Although, I much prefer to laugh with them than cry, lol. Until again, Kera

@crk765 I'm glad you liked my book! I tried to make it so you don't HAVE to read The Witch's Alpha first to understand what's going on in The Alpha's Missing Mate.
