6. Writer's block is a real thing. We stare and stare at the computer, the paper, the phone and nothing comes. But then we get in the car or shower and the ideas flow! It's annoying.

5. Plot twists are the stuff of life and keeps things interesting. So are cliffhangers at the end of a chapter. Will the hero pull through? Read the next chapter. LOL

3. Sleep is the optimal time for the characters we create to demand attention from the writer's mind. A good writer is a horrible sleeper because we give into the muse and write instead of sleep.
