Phew! Just submitted 'Blood & Thorns' to the ONC round 3! Thank you to everyone who has read and voted, and supported me through this. Writing a high fantasy story in a novella format was no easy feat, but I'm really pleased with how the story came together. Fingers crossed and best of luck to everyone who has made it this far in the contest!

I've been participating in NaNoWriMo this year and man am I really challenging myself. It's often hard for me to find motivation when writing. Some days the inspiration is nonstop, while others, I dread thinking of putting my hands to a keyboard. This month I've really been pushing myself to move past that self-doubt and reluctance and write at least 1,000 words a day. It's hard for me to remind myself that it's a first draft, it's not supposed to be pretty, just get the basic idea out and work on fixing it up later. I think this will really help strengthen me as I continue to grow as a writer and I can't wait to see what the end result will be.
