Hey, hope you’re doing okay :) just want to say that Of Cinders and Starlight is a really good book and I hope to see it again on here, or on a shelf :) 

I’m really sad to say that I will not be able to continue participating in this year’s ONC challenge. There’s a lot going on in my life and I haven’t given my story the attention it deserves. Best of luck to all those competing and I hope to return next year.

I finally downloaded Grammarly and am wondering why I didn't do so sooner. It's a great writing tool for the editing process.

I've been participating in NaNoWriMo this year and man am I really challenging myself. It's often hard for me to find motivation when writing. Some days the inspiration is nonstop, while others, I dread thinking of putting my hands to a keyboard. This month I've really been pushing myself to move past that self-doubt and reluctance and write at least 1,000 words a day. It's hard for me to remind myself that it's a first draft, it's not supposed to be pretty, just get the basic idea out and work on fixing it up later. I think this will really help strengthen me as I continue to grow as a writer and I can't wait to see what the end result will be.

Because my life isn't busy enough, I've decided to challenge myself and participate in NaNoWriMo, this year. I've heard a lot about it and am excited to try something new and challenge my writing skills. I hope I turn out something worth sharing by the end of November —fingers crossed. I don't want to share too much about the project but I will say that it is another sci-fi retelling of a classic fairytale. Care to guess which one? Leave your guesses in the comments!

October has been and will continue to be a very busy month for me. I'm doing edits to manuscripts, trying to keep up with Inktober prompts to keep those artistic juices flowing and I'll be heading to California at the end of the month. It doesn't look like I'll have time for Halloween Vault this year but you can check out my collection of entries from last year and the year prior on my profile. As always your support is more appreciated by me than I can ever express. Thanks for keeping me inspired even when I feel discouraged in my writing journey. <3

It's that time of the year again! Halloween Vault IV is officially open; unfortunately I've got a lot on my plate at the moment so I don't know that I will be able to participate this year, but I'm going to try to get a couple of prompts submitted before the month is over.

So I just finished the first draft of A Tale of Moon and Shadow (the sequel to A Tale of Cinders and Starlight) and... the New Adult account has added ATOCS to two of their reading lists! You can find it under their "Take a Seat and Let it Be | Nature Content 18+"  reading list as well as their "Do you see the Future? | Science Fiction + Fantasy" reading list!

A Tale of Cinders and Starlight has officially been entered into the Watty's! For those who have already read it, rest assured, I am working on getting the sequel published. It's still in the works but I have a few chapters that are ready to be published.
