@kawaiicardi101 Thank you for the follow. Anyway i first read the series when the first movie was announced, I figured if it was popular enough to get a movie then it must be pretty good. Originally I quite enjoyed the books and even recommended them to a friend who also liked to read. A couple years later i went to reread them and could barely get through the second book. They just seemed so repetitive as if the author found something that worked and stuck to it a little too hard. Not to bad mouth the author that is she deserves the success writing an entire series isnt an easy thing to do, but it is now quite obvious that she started writing the books at a young age. There are quite a lot of mature situations presented throughout the book and not one of them is handled in the correct way. As for the movies they are quite awful. I feel like the movies would have worked if they were geared to adults and focused more on the toxicity and abuse of the relationship.
