I have told many readers this, but I actually wrote these books a very long time ago and debated on sharing them for a while. I finally got the courage to publish them about a year ago and began working one day at a time. I have the entire story laid out in rough draft and add a bit as I can. At first, I was so worried that they might not do well or attract readers. But I am thankful that they did! I love hearing that my readers can relate to the character's personalities and life issues.
