Welcome to the Lystyn Chronicles! If you are a first-time reader, or a veteran trying to figure out how everything connects, you are in the right place. Here is the official guide to the Lystyn Chronicles:
          	1. The Operator Between Worlds (The OG Prequel)
What it is: The story that started it all.
Where it fits: This is the foundational prequel. If you want to know the origins of the Lystyn universe, and the core lore, start here.
          	2. Brothers in Arms (The Main Event)
What it is: The direct continuation and the massive, ongoing central storyline. It follows Task Force Dagger, the coalition forces, and the heavy world-building as modern military tactics meet fantasy reality.
Where it fits: Read this after The Operator Between Worlds. This is the current "present day" of the canon timeline.
          	3. Steel Horizon (The Naval Parallel)
What it is: A parallel ongoing story focusing on the crew of an American destroyer navigating the same alien waters. It trades ground-pounding infantry action for naval warfare and strategy.
Where it fits: This runs simultaneously alongside Brothers in Arms. You can read them side-by-side! The best part? The endings of Steel Horizon are being written to eventually converge in a massive crossover event in the latter half of Brothers in Arms.
          	4. Forget the Original Plot, I Just Want to Engineer in Peace! (The Spin-Off)
What it is: A completely different flavor for fans of the Otome Isekai/Reincarnation genre! The protagonist is reincarnated straight into a book—specifically, into the "original plot" of The Operator Between Worlds.
Where it fits: This is a highly entertaining, alternate-universe narrative. It does not belong to the strict canon timeline of the main military books, but it uses the exact same world-building and lore from a completely fresh, engineering-focused perspective.
Thank you all for taking this journey with me, for reading, and for allowing this universe to grow. Grab your gear, check your ammo, and welcome to Lystyn!

I recently came across *Brothers in Arms: Journey Through the Unknown* and wanted to reach out because the story genuinely stood out to me. @Khang_KT correct me if I'm wrong, is your story, Brothers in arms connected to Operators in arms?

          If so, how?

Drewsrecord

@Khang_KT I see, thanks for the info.

The reason why I'm asking is that I somehow forgot your story a few months ago, and what I remember is that Mason's team encounters an advanced civilization, and after re-reading your story, that advanced civilization is the Republic of Seaside, which I thought that 'Other Mason' created, and how it is connected to the prequel story. And I'm glad that I found your story again.

@Drewsrecord Ah, so your memory is definitely playing tricks on you! It's actually the exact same John Mason in both books, not a new guy with the same name. "Operator Between Worlds" covers his initial isekai adventure when he first crosses over. He didn't build an ancient advanced nation in the past. Brothers in Arms is just the direct sequel following that exact same Mason and his team in the present timeline. I highly recommend checking out the pinned reading guide on my bio page—it breaks down exactly how the books and the timeline connect! Reading the synopsis of both those books will also help to reorientate you.

@Khang_KT Oh, looks like my memory is a bit spoofed

How is it connected? If my memory serves, the MC(Operator) built/create a nation long ago that is advanced in fantasy world, and then many years have passed, the other MC with the same name(Brothers) and his team encounters it. Is that right?

@kaila1122 Thank you so much for your support! I am very honored and incredibly grateful that you spent so much time reading my books. Hearing that means the world to me!
To be honest with you, my 'secret' is just consuming a lot of stories from every angle I can. I watch a ton of movies and videos, and I read a lot of books, manga, and comics. Taking in all those different types of media gives me a huge pool of ideas to pull from.
My best advice is that whenever you get an idea—even just the tiniest detail—write it down immediately. Over time, that tiny detail will bloom into a scene, then a chapter, then a whole arc, and eventually an entire chronicle. I truly believe people naturally have incredibly wild imaginations, and the trick to writing is just using that to your advantage. Thank you again for the amazing support!
