Writing is something that I've struggled with for a long time, ever since I wrote my first short story when I was 12 years old. Unfortunately, I don't have that with me still.
But one of the things that I want to do here is grow as a writer, become disciplined and focused in order to move forward with my career.
Some of the genre's that I'm interested in exploring are Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and Dark Contemporary Fiction.
Regrettably, I'm not gonna be able to write any Fantasy nor Urban Fantasy at the moment due to the fact that it's too overwhelming for a beginner like myself. So that leaves Dark Contemporary Fiction.
Some of the things that I want to explore in my writing are family dynamics, emotional stability, cultural backgrounds, gender roles, choices and consequences, etc.
I'm mainly going to focus on one single character (for my Dark Contemporary Fiction) as well as expectation vs reality.
