I fell in love with reading from a very young age. Anything I could get my hands on that caught my interests I would read. Even the stuff I wasn't suppose to such as any of the Harlequin Romance novels. 

Going through puberty and the emotional rollercoaster that is for many I was encouraged to keep diaries or journals. That quickly turned out to be not a very effective method for me. So, I began turning myself and those I was writing about into characters and placing them in fictional settings. Exaggerating their lives and situations but keeping the core conflicts and emotional, mental physical struggles I and/or my friends where going through. I haven't put the pen down since.
