Hello, my darlings!
As you can see, I'm not very new to Wattpad anymore, but I haven't had time to change my rube-ish, ego-stroking bio yet.
I love music. If an abstract concept could be my baby, it would be music. My favorite bands include but are not limited to My Chemical Romance, New Found Glory, Pencey Prep, Black Veil Brides, and Panic! at the Disco. I play the piano, the accordion, the harp, the autoharp (there's a difference), and am fairly proficient with other percussion instruments.
But, I suppose this website is about writing.
Both reading and writing have been my passions since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Some of my favorite selections include J.D. Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye', Emma C. Dowd's 'Polly and the Princess', and Frances Burnett's 'Little Lord Fauntleroy'. I can't say I emulate any of those writing styles, however.
I also have a fondness for children's stories. "That's immature!" you may say. To that, I would reply "I hope one day you grow old enough to read fairy tales again." Children's tales--and indeed children's writing--can hold great wisdom. Hans Christian Anderson and Beatrix Potter are my favorites in this aspect.
As David Mitchell once said, "A book you finish reading is not the same book it was before you read it." With that in mind, please take some time to read what I've written, though it isn't much yet, and help the stories grow. Also, please leave some helpful suggestions!
