          	“I want us to be friends.”
          	
          	Shashikalaa scoffs. “Friends? We can't be friends, Prince. We are enemies.”
          	
          	“Our kingdoms are,” he replies, “but we are not. The people of the kingdoms don't want a war, as do I. I want nothing but peace.”
          	
          	“And yet,” the princess says, taking a step forward, “when your King commands you, you will attack us. You will lay down siege to this very land we are standing upon, would you not?”
          	
          	The Prince could not say anything, he could only remember the scowl on the beautiful princess' face as she walked away. Her words were true, if commanded he would have to attack the Northern kingdoms.
          	
          	Even if the princess stood before him, he would have to fight with her. His heart would break but he was duty bound.

So, I'm writing something based on age gap romances, not really a main trope but more like a social study. 
          I'm taking reference of movies like Lolita where pedophilia is romanticised when the book aims for a different reaction. What are your thoughts about it? How do you feel about age gap relationships in real life?
          
          I would seriously be so grateful for your feedback because I want to make it something more serious than just Wattpad fics and stories. So, please leave your comments, anything is accepted, I just want to know y'alls thoughts about something that is so general in our society.

To give you my thoughts, I used to say I'm okay with an age gap of max 10 years, older than me of course. I didn't realise it until now that it's because most women reach mental maturity far earlier than most men and so older men represent maturity and security that all women seek. And also that in most arranged marriages, families prefer a well earning older guy to keep their daughters comfortable. It has changed my views drastically however after experiencing the world on my own as a person in early 20s and realising that it's so easily accepted when a woman might get with an older guy but not when it's vice versa. It's just a mind blowing deep dive into psychology that I can't really explain here.

So I've got a profile on inkitt now. I thought of going by the same name as here but I'm going by Asteria. Not the star goddess although that's a good one but I just picked it bcuz of my birth month flower Aster. Rn I've only published Aiza Begum there, going to see how it does before publishing other works. 
          
          I'll still be publishing on Wattpad but the content on inkitt might be different from what I put here bcuz like in case of Kintsugi it needs a lot of editing to be called a completely original story. I'll see how it goes tho, let's see.
          
          If everything goes well I might even post some exclusive content on inkitt but rn it's not happening bcuz of my work load. I'm just hoping for the best!

            I can understand the chaos of uni. It gets better tho. It will only get chaotic during exams after a few semesters. Writer blocks suck tho. I'm not that active on wp either bcuz there's literally 1 month left before I finish master's and there's too much work to be done for the final project. Let's hope for the best tho.
