Ok so we know that many people have lost the jobs and the kids are home all due to the Corvid-19. Hopefully all are healthy and safe.
With this being said, I wonder why so many writers are starting all these new stories, but have yet to even update the older ones, let alone finish them. You as writers get a big following, then just stop, no updated, no A/N, just suddenly busy. Soooooo when the country reopens and the jobs rehire, then what? Another story put on hold just at the most exciting part. Complete a story then say read what I wrote. I hate having to reread a story several times because the updates are few and far in between. I dont care about grammatical errors that can be corrected at a later time, just give the readers complete stories without excuses.

Here we are in 2018 and I find myself deleting books that weren't updated since 2015 or earlier. All authors want there readers to vote, comment etc yet they find it impossible to complete a book. So tired of the AN with attitude or excuses why they didn't or can't update

          1. life got complicated
          2. Starting school
          3. Starting a family or the kid are now a handful
          4. Starting a new job
          5. I have a life outside of just writing
          6. Someone said something bad, so I won't write anymore
          7. I have writers block( you only wrote 3 chapters)
          8. Writing is taking up to much time
          9. This story seems to cliche
          10. I don't like the direction this story is taking so im going to take it down and rework it.(Never to be seen or heard from again)
You knew all these things before you even got stated so why bother? Why get mad when everyone starts asking for updates? Why get readers all rapped up just to pull the plug, especially the author with large followings.
All Im saying is check you calendar and check your life before involving others.

Its funny how i have more books in my archives than in my library SMH.....It seems that the authors get to the best part of the story then just stop. Then you dont get an update for weeks or several months. For some it seems the haven't updated in years. I am now only reading books that are completed to avoid the wait.

Hi Kimberly, thank you for the vote for my story The Prophecy, I really appreciate it as this is my very first story that I have ever written. I have been a member of Wattpad since 2012 and have read hundreds of stories but have never had the courage to write my own story before now. So I am very grateful to you for even reading my story. Thank you.

So many great books on wattpad get you hooked and excited for the next update. The problem is, it may be a months or years before that next update comes. Now you have forgotten what's going on in that story and have lost interest in it or you have to start from the beginning of the story to even understand what's going on.
I have been reading roxann season series of books and I can honestly say she has yet to disappoint me.
She is one of the few authors who complete a series of books that keep you on the edge till the last page.
The fact that you don't have to wait ages for an update and every chapter has you hold your breath for the next one, we'll all I can say is she is an incredible writer. I don't usually recommend books, but for those of you who are like myself, and don't want to wait forever for a update, then this is the series for you. Start at the beginning and let me know if you become just as good as I have.
