I will say, though, after watching the Odyssey, I think I know what I wanna do during the last Olympian. Because I’ve been struggling to write chapters due to how they’re written in the actual book. But I know once we actually pick up on the actual battle I’ll be able to write more comfortably. But at the moment, I’m just struggling to write.

Dude I forgot how much the Last Olympian is Percy heavy. Like even in fanfics its hard to write without realizing “dang, how do I fit my plot here?” This next chapter is literally just a Y/n chapter. No pov change. Just Y/n’s plot.

Yo man… hard to believe we are at the Last Olympian already. I’m so ready for this.

Since is the book we get the most of her…I hope we get to see some of Hestia’s thoughts about having a son and daughter of her own. We know that Hestia is the first born Olympian, and family is everything to her… but she never wanted to get married and have kids due to the whole trauma of being eaten by her dad and the sorrowed wails of her mom… that’s why she swore to be a virgin goddess.

However, something tells me that the moment that Y/n and Calista came into existence… all she ever wanted/needed was their love… and she might have some small romantic feeling for Polities/Yn’s dad too.

I kinda really wanna see a “Mama Bear Hestia” moment. We saw a little bit of it when she shut the gods down from executing her kids, and she probably has some pent-up aggression for how certain gods treated them (cough-Ares), and she won’t like it one bit if her psycho-dad hurts her son.

Soooooooo… do you guys hate me?

@Crimson1233 I spent the entire book debating on whether or not to keep him alive but I feel narratively this is the best outcome

@KingCl0udyyy It’s really sad that Beck couldn’t be saved in this story… but at least he passed looking into Y/n’s face.

I feel really bad for Y/n here, he lost another brother. And Beck has done so much for Y/n. He made him his fire sword and helped fix up his cabin too.

RIP Beck… May you have a grand time up in the Elysium Fields.

Do we really want a chapter on Percy seeing his dad like in the og book? Or should we just skip over it entirely? If we skip it I’ll just give a very quick recap of what happened to him, I think everyone is more focused on what happened to Y/n anyways
