Just finished reading Tankery End. Few things I didn't like. First is just the amount of very sussy moments. I mean, if you put male and female teen on an island for a year, it's bound to happen. It got a bit satire as I read through. The part where Edward was taking Maho to pound town just shouldn't be there in the first place. Like for context, the guy hasn't slept for 2 days and the part where she is mentally unstable should not have led them there. Also the scene where Edward shouts that Maho was pregnant was indeed a plot twist, but not in the good way. What about the University Team that was just sitting around? It would've been better if they suddenly had a change of heart and decided to destroy the Gustav Cannon and ultimately end the match. It was good for the first 13 chapters but went on a downward spiral later into the chapters. Maybe it was intentional to simulate how warfare works, from calm and strategic, to undecisive and desperate.
And don't mention Austin being attacked by the same bear twice. Give my guy a break.
