It's your choice really... I have my own opinion, but ultimately it's your work and effort that was put into it. Unless it's creating issues or what not, it should be fine. Idk, keep it if you want and laugh at it in a few years. Either way, I don't see how it would really affect anything besides completely pointless objections. Nobody would notice if it was gone either because there are no more updates or new personal stories anymore. Just go with whatever you as the author feel comfortable doing. The only thing I would not recommend doing is finishing up the story with any type of plot twist or any ending for that matter. It is what it is and it would be best not to create trivial problems. That is all.
