I'm a devoted husband, proud dad to two amazing young adults (and two fur babies), and a lifelong fan of science fiction, fantasy, and action-adventure stories. I've always had a strong sense of doing what's right, and that theme runs deep in my writing.

The Knights of Gaia series started as a story I couldn't stop thinking about-and couldn't stop talking about to my then-girlfriend (now wife). One day, she looked me in the eye and said, "You need to write this down." I thought she was nuts-I wasn't a writer, and English class definitely wasn't my thing. But she told me, "That's what editors are for. Creativity is what counts, and you've got an incredible story to tell."

So, I grabbed three journals and handwrote my story. Life, of course, had other plans. Within one year, we had two kids back-to-back. Between being a stay-at-home dad, a coach, and tackling all the other curveballs life threw my way, the book took a back seat-but never left my mind. I fleshed out the world and characters in the school pick-up line and kept the story alive in stolen moments. Then came a turning point: a mountain biking accident that left me with a broken neck. With nothing else to do but lay flat for three months, I finally had the time-and the push-to dive back into my book. I poured my heart into it, and now, I'm almost finished with the first novel in what will be an epic series.

My daughter, @WiseGirlsSista1226, encouraged me to share my story here so others could experience it, too. So here I am, putting it out into the world. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've loved creating it!
