          Most of the Yasmu hate is directed towards Freya’s book, which is odd because Freya literally works on The Mimic, and has done various art pieces for the game. You’re talking about what a wiki thinks to someone who actually knows more about the game than you, and to someone who contributes to it.
          That’s like going up to MUC and saying ‘I wonder what the Wiki would think of your game.’ It’s honestly laughable.
          
          If you go to Freya’s book, The Mimic: Archive, and go to the first Yasmu story, you’ll be able to see the comments. I’ll copy and paste one here for you all to see.

          The wiki may hate it, but the OFFICIAL TEAM FOR THE MIMIC doesn’t. Why are you saying that to a person who works on the game? Idiotic.
          
          I’ve even seen someone ask Freya to off themselves. Which is beyond disgusting. All this discourse over a ship which has no illegal or disgusting undertones..
          
          And even Toby, the main artist, likes the ship, she’s drawn Yasu and Isamu KISSING before. 
          She draws them quite often, actually.
          While this does not signify canon, it does mean that the ship is generally well-received in the actual team, or that the team is indifferent about Yasmu in general. I doubt Toby would draw various Yasmu art pieces if the creator was opposed to the latter. So there’s nothing wrong with the ship. Nobody on the team wants it gone.
          
          Do not put others down for a ship. Yasmu is not proship. End of story.
