I know my heart says the plot for next year's animated Transformers movie is going to be a mix of Aligned and IDW's origins for Megatron and Optimus, but it's not going to stop me from consuming every ounce of Pre-War content I can get my grubby little hands on and make a bingo card for it. (The Free Space will be "[Sniffles] You Two Are So Divorced" btw. Don't lie to yourself and say they aren't)

I love finding odd things in history that occurred around the same time, like did you know that Toyotomi Hideyoshi would have never been able to see William Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" live because he died a year before the play's first performance (and he likely didn't speak English but that's not the point I am trying to make here)? Crazy

I think I've realized their is a difference between summarizes on AO3 and Wattpad and how that correlates with how many people who will read the work. On AO3 there's a tagging system that allows you to see what the work is about or any sort of warnings before actually reaching the summery, so authors can just add lines directly from the work to the description as a final hook to bring in readers. On Wattpad there isn't anything like that. Authors have to write out an actual summery about the work is about and hope it's eye-catching enough to draw in readers. Which probably explains the little reads my works get (outside of just general disinterest in a particular pairing or premise) because I still use the AO3 method of writing a summery. I take a small portion of the fic that basically describes the work/made to bring attention to a potential reader and completely forget that Wattpad doesn't have the same tagging system as AO3

I have been spoiled by AO3
