Once upon a time in the 90s, Kit Caine was born to parents who didn't know they'd sired a writer. To their eternal shame, she didn't turn out to be a doctor or lawyer. It took years, but they finally passed through all the stages of grief and now are happy to receive text messages in the middle of the night with story snippets. 



Kit dwells in the lumberjack-wilds of Minnesota. Most days she holds up in her writing cave, pecking away at keys to get all the voices in her head to stop talking at once. 



You can expect Kit's works to be second world fantasy or science-fantasy and always with a healthy dose of romance. Her stories lean toward the dark side. 



She has an evil cat named Mynx. When the little troublemaker isn't trying to tip coffee into Kit's laptop, she is usually curled in her lap, demanding head-rubs.
