Decided to get to work on my new book, Engraved. I'm hoping that sinking my teeth into something new will kickstart my motivation so that I can jump back into my other works that I've fallen behind on :p
Once I reach five chapters finished I will start posting them :)
@Iarmas Thanks :) My kids have abandoned me for a week, so I am hoping to distract myself with writing lol
Trying to get the next chapter of Dragon Reincarnated out now but still struggling. On the Brightside, I find myself mulling over other, unpublished, works in my head a lot recently meaning the 'writing fairy' might be returning to me lol. I might just start up one of the projects I have had on the back burner, waiting for my current works to wrap up. Maybe if I get into something new, it will be the kickstart I need to get my head back into the game.
I'm kind of torn between Engraved (my twist on an isekai/RPGlit with a witty and reluctantly kindhearted MC on a mission to save the weak Earth she suddenly finds herself a part of. I think I put a description of it in 'Books in the Works') or another book I've decided to call 'Fallen Scion of the Legendary Plague Witch' (this one is one of the on-hold books I have cooking that involves a literal VR game. Another tale of revenge when the MC is betrayed by her ex fiancé and the very guild she helped him to create. Her character is deleted, but she comes back with the sole goal being epic revenge upon a man who never really got to know the darker parts of her life she had tried to take a step back from. I intended this one to be funny and a little camp with lots of strange characters and an MC who is both compassionate, but also maybe just a little unhinged in-game XD)
@KitCorbeau Then I'd say go for it - enjoy writing it for a part/book or two and see what it does to your motivation for other stories. Magic missiles are a must for all good RPGs...

@Iarmas lmao its no problem XD I criticize my own absence. I am this close (squeezes fingers so they are nearly fused together) to just getting to work on Engraved in the hopes that starting a brand new story might kick start my brain once more. Sigh...
Apologies, that was supposed to be a compliment upon the difficulty of finding equal writing in your absence rather than criticising you for your absence...

It only too forever, but chapter 72 of Broken is out. I was originally going to make it twice as long, but decided to just cut it in half. Otherwise I'd never get the darn thing out lol

I just binged one of your books, “Dragon Reincarnated” and I absolutely love it. I hope you are able to get out of your writing slump soon. I’m excited to see the events coming up and exactly how she’s gonna respond to having a bird on her head lol. That bit with ‘Momma’ was hilarious.

@THUNDERHOGII Yes, though it isn't high on my priorities, so I mainly just add a chapter when the mood strikes :p Currently I am in a bit of a writing slump and have been finding it hard to get ANY chapters out, even in my main books. So ones like Discarded Saint have fallen even farther behind. I am hoping to get at least a chapter of Dragon Reincarnated and Broken out before the weekend is over. Until I can do that I can't even think about putting out one of the others :( Sorry to keep you waiting on it.
Just had an idea for a new story! That MUST mean that my brain is- at last- going back into writing mode, right?... RIGHT?! lmao. Anyway, I jotted it down and I am hoping to get more work done on the two chapter's I've already gotten stated and that are in desperate need to get out. I hope- HOPE- to have them done before the start of next week. Fingers crossed!

I've been struck (overtheheadwithafryingpan) by motivation the past two days, and I'm honestly shocked at what I've gotten done. Here's to a large word count! *delicately raises mug of tea*
Still haven't finished the Broken Chapter, but got started on the Dragon Reincarnated one too. Maybe, if I can force myself to get a couple hundred words done here and there, I can get them both done sooner :p
@Kanao_Etria :) I have about 700 words of Broken done, and only about 2 hundred of Dragon Reincarnated :p
