If there is a god, then he is playing a super funny April fools joke on me today. Everything has been turned into ice... I'll probably die on my way to work :( I still can't feel parts of my leg from the last fall, and only just lost the weird lump on my knee cap lmao. Guess the world wants me to have at least one lass  fall before the spring gets here properly XD

So.. Ah... I went and did it again. I had another idea for a book (technically a two part duology I suppose) and spent the morning writing thousands of words on the time line of them rather than actually using that motivation to get another chapter written of a book I am currently struggling to find motivation to write. Typical me lol. However, i think the new idea is pretty cool, and it has a twisted ending (book one) and then the MC of the second book changes... and for once it would me writing a story with a male MC O<O. Shocking, I know lol. I think I only ever wrote a male MC once in my life, and that male was actually a flaming wolf-monster with three tails, so...
          
          Anyway, I have added them to the list of 30 (literally) other books that are in the backlog, just waiting for me to have the time and motivation to get to them... Sadness lol

There! New chapter of Dragon Reincarnated up at last. Phew... that was like pulling teeth, but I hope it was at least worth a little of the wait I put everyone through o.O I also tried putting it through an editing app, so I hope there are less errors for everyone lol. Though if I think the app is changing the actual way I write (tone, personality, whatever you might call it) then I will give up on it. I'd rather have all the grammar and spelling errors i am famous for then have some dang app change my book on me.

Sweet and I understand unintentional breaks… I have 2 books that I have written and want to start the next one however since finally getting housed after being homeless I haven’t been in the correct state of mind for writing

I am trying real hard to drag my brain out of this unintentional break from writing but it hasn't been easy :( I certainly have every intention of continuing the story though! I wanted to get to at least the tenth floor of the tower before a took a break on Broken, and that would be at least 30 or 40 more chapters if I had to guess :p I am nearly done the next chapter of Dragon Reincarnated right now, and hope to get to work on the next Broken chapter after that. If I am lucky I will get into it and just blast though several chapters. I have  done that with Broken before and I have my fingers crossed that the motivation will come to me once again :p

Is it just me or has there been a new resurgence of 'people' offering their artistic or editorial skills lately? It seemed to slow down for a couple months- though I assumed that was just because I haven't been posting- but in the last week I've been getting them again. I've had to block 4 people just between yesterday and this morning. And I literally just woke up. I haven't even put cream in my coffee yet, let alone had a sip!!! O.o I guess I just wanted to warn people to be careful out there on this site, and don't get scammed!

@Cookies1475 I do it on the off chance that they are genuine. If their profile has been active for a while, they have samples of their art, and an okay amount of activity I will politely let them know I'm not in the market for an editor/coverist/animator/whatever they are. If they don't check those boxes I just block them. I used to report, but it didn't look like that was helping at all so I stopped putting in the effort.

@jpsuchecki I used to think that too, but I haven't posted anything in months (though I am just about finished the next chapter of Dragon Reincarnated finally) yet they have been hounding me the last week. The one this morning claimed to have read my whole Enna book and it inspired them to illustrate it or something. I zoned out after the first sentence as it is literally almost a word for word copy of every other one of them. I thought it was funny that they made it all the way through the whole book in less than an hour, given their profile had been made less than an hour before they messaged me... Or am I supposed to believe they made a whole account just to reach out to me? lol
