Ouran High School Host Club is a piece of art and it just makes me feel so happy. I hate it when people say it's old or Maid-sama's better becuase it isn't! I know you have a right to your own opinion and everything but there is no way you can compare Ouran with anything because it's on a whole other level which these other anime can only dream of reaching.
Okay, let's go over the reason why it rules. It's literally hilarious, it has a diverse cast (Haruhi's dad was gender queer for crying out loud and she didn't care that everyone thought she was a guy because she felt that what was on the inside was more important than outwardly appearance), the girl wasn't chasing after the guy (granted, it was the other way around but still!). I can literally go on all day. I've had some of the best times watching that show and having people trash it gets on my nerves.
(Not hating on Maid-Sama! I think that's neat too. Just using it as an eg.)
