          Backstory: Kani Inwong (Kannika Apsara Inwong) was born in 1301 in the Sukhothai Kingdom to a powerful witch and a Naga guardian. By 17, her draconic and witch powers awakened, her eyes glowing emerald and purple, and her skin flickering with scales, revealing her as a living apex predator. Over 700 years, she became a nomadic guardian, mastering combat, magic, and human arts to stay grounded. In 2010, she arrived in Mystic Falls, protecting Bonnie, Jeremy, and the gang, while her one true vulnerability remained the Darius Stone Sword, capable of trapping her soul.
