Well, I can say with utmost certainty that 2023 brought surprises that I didn’t anticipate. I can tell you that back in January I was thinking to myself that I didn’t have enough story ideas for fic writing to take me all the way to the end of this year. Boy, was I wrong XD
          	
          	I guess I’ll forever remember 2023 as the year I got obsessed with Trolls lol (all thanks to Branch who said his famous “Let’s go get married!” line when the first trailer for TBT dropped on March 28th)
          	
          	Early February, I was about 2 seconds away from deleting this account entirely (since I had gotten no votes, feedback, or followers on the stuff I had) but something made me stop. Don't know what, but I'm glad I didn't go through with it. I’m glad to see that things have changed since then, and I appreciate those who have shown interest in my writings and enjoy talking to the folks who have reached out to me in turn :D
          	
          	What was your favorite story or oneshot I've written? I'd love to know :)
          	
          	I will be continuing my writings next year! Until then...

@adapotatathegoat_27 hi! It's no problem, but yes, I am taking a little break from the writing to give myself some headspace to think of new ideas. I have some drafts that I am working on, and I do think that I should be able to update at least two more times before the month is out. The updates in general are going to be more sparse from here on out. I appreciate your interest in my writings, thank you! :D

A headcanon that I shared with @Iluvolaf that a lot of people agree with is that Spruce/Bruce fell in love with Brandy after she cooked for him and he showed how much he admired her cooking, e.g. "Girl, where have you *been* all my life." right after finishing an amazing meal of hers. 
          
          I also think Spruce/Bruce courted Brandy through singing her a song, e.g. "Can't Help Falling in Love with You" originally by Elvis Presley.
