'Voices? Its been a while since I've heard a voice other than my own, I wonder who it might be?'
I thought to myself as I sat upon the soft, matted dead grass, and stared up at the endless path of thin trees and red bushes that surrounded me.
Could it be a villager from the kingdom a few hours away? No, they wouldn't step near the forest because of the name and rumors made from it.
Holy knights? It could possibly be them, but then again they were never wise. Coming to the forest only to be killed.
Not by me, but by the forest that protects me. Hence why I stay put in such a secret area. I've grown up here for a while, and just as the forest protects me I shall do the same if need be.
