@Kiyomeiii, thank you so much for answering my questions! I also hope you’re doing well! But just another questions regarding their relationship, since you said Michael and Noah have a toxic relationship but would go to couple therapy to get better - does Noah truly love Micheal despite their toxic relationship + Michael anger issues and having a child with someone before?, even if their relationship does get better, would Noah love to have a child with Michael - born from their true love and push past his regrets - like start fresh? And just to confirm Noah and Quinn are just friends, like not in love with each other since you said they were just teenagers when they had the child and don’t understand love. Is Quinn going to find someone new? , In some cases people would most likely hate/despise their partners biological child, Because Noah’s biological child just resembles Quinn’s betrayal and their torn friendship - how come Michael didn’t ? What is Quinn’s perspective? Like does she really feel guilty?, does she look down on herself?, even though she’s attached to her child, doesn’t the child remind her of her own betrayal to Michael and her regrets? Again sorry for long questions - I’m trying to get a better understanding of you au - I hope this was not rude it was never my intention!

And thank you for asking! I haven’t really thought about it in a while, due to me coming up with my own real book. So sorry for some confusion that I may have caused you, your messages have caused my brain to think.

Oh gosh, so Noah does love Micheal. Although he struggles to show it, he does. Noah wouldn’t mind having a child with Micheal even if their relationship doesn’t get better. Their toxic relationship is normal to them. Noah ans Quinn an aren’t in love, but they aren’t friends. They feel something for each other, but neither of them can place their finger on it. They had a child with one another, and were each other’s first love. There’s always something between them. But Noah loves Micheal and he wouldn’t choose Quinn over him. Quinn does sometimes date, consider her a ‘hoe’ for this—or whatever, but she does cheat on them, and her relationship’s don’t last long. She’s still caught up on her past to really put trust into anyone else. Micheal would never hate Noah and Quinn’s child. Their child has nothing to do with their parent’s mistakes and Micheal knows that. He would never blame an innocent baby on their parents idiotic mistakes. The child does remind her of her betrayal to Micheal, but that’s her baby. She loves her child more than anyone else in the entire world. So she doesn’t think differently. Noah and Quinn never really dated, sure they were close, and felt something for each other. But they don’t even know if it’s love. Noah doesn’t understand the concept of love, he knows he loves Micheal, and he loves love. But he also hates it because he doesn’t understand it. Noah still cares for Quinn and would kill for her, that at the end of the day, is his child’s mother. But he loves Micheal, and Micheal, doesn’t know how to feel about Quinn honestly. He knows he hates her. But sometimes he wonders what was so different about Noah than him, Micheal was jealous of Noah.

And when you said Noah did love Quinn (when they were teenagers)- I'm assuming they did date and had the child, what made them broke up - did they break up before the child was born or after? To my understanding they didn't abort it because they couldn't, and also because the child brought them joy, and Noah and Quinn didn't think about each other and they just see and love their child as their own even though she wasn't planned or born from love. And Noah doesn’t regret having her because how much joy she brings and not because Quinn is her biological mother.
