I've been writing stories and poetry since I was 14 and reading stories far longer than that. I've spent long hours touring Oz, Xanth, Prydain, Wonderland, Middle Earth, the Randlands, the Discworld and many other exotic locations and was always home in time for supper. 
The Other Apprentice is my first novel, a fantasy adventure involving wizards that isn't really about the magic. The characters in it have been my companions for years now, and I'm excited that people finally get to meet them. I have several more stories planned in the world the novel inhabits.
