~~ UPDATE PART 2 ~~ 
          
          "Soooo you gonna do patch notes or-" 
          That was my co-author's deal. I don't do that. Sorry. The only updates I prefer doing are ones like these where the update is massive enough to warrant announcing it like this. That being said, I don't mind answering questions if anyone has any. 
          
          "Don't leave me hanging, actually tell me what you hated about it." 
          Fine. 
          
          * Weak characterization 
          * Weak plot points 
          * New characters and powers as the plot demands! 
               * Co-author had a romantic entanglement which heavily affected the plot later down the line in a way that I actually left the project, but she couldn't do it alone and left everything to me. 
          * Side quests upon side quests, that's how we ended up with 60 chapters of bull- 
          * Do I mention the Purple Prose???  
          * Ohhh, Skye, the way you get your sword is so funny in the old draft. You spend the beginning being depressed then suddenly you're all heroic out of nowhere. Not to worry, your awakening is more.. earned, in the final version. 
          * The book itself was fueled by my co-author's and I's doomer philosophy. This draft was first written in 2019-20, so the isolation era of COVID-19 severely affected our mental health. It was meant to evoke the same loneliness, but we were also noobs at writing, so it just looked.. wrong. 
          
          I've also honed my illustration abilities so I hope to share some art of the new story one day. Maybe even make a dedicated art book and/or post production doodles here time to time. Who knows!

~~ MASSIVE UPDAAAATE ~~ 
          
          FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT THE ULTIMATE CAR ENTHUSIAST. 
          
          1. It's getting renamed 
          2. I'm cringing looking at the old chapters. This whole book is an Old Shame and getting COMPLETELY redone. I'm talking removing 90% of the characters, changing the plot, and doing all sorts of other things to change it. For those following on Royal Road, yes, there HAVE been some changes, but the plot structure underneath was fundamentally broken. So, here's what I've got and I may have to split it into 2 posts. 
          
          1. "Well what did you hate about it-" 
          EVERYTHING except for the world's concept and the characters.  The book itself was lowkey meanspirited and full of plot contrivances. I wasn't in charge of writing, but I take partial responsibility for making.. *checks notes* 1.5k wayward readers stumble upon this before it was ever ready for the public. 
          
          2. "Well what happened-" 
          Had a co-author who wanted to be dark and edgy about things. I left the project before she decided to call it quits and give me back the characters.  I haven't heard back from her in so long. I wish her the best. 
          
          3. "Well what's it getting renamed to?" 
          It'll be revealed when it's revealed 
          
          4. "How long will this take?" 
          I'm aiming for BEFORE 2027 release if not Q1 2027 
          
          5. "Where?" 
          Royal Road. 
          
          6. "What about the version up on Royal Road? What about the Wattpad version" 
          Preservation. Maybe if the Powers that Be smile upon me, I can release the concepts to Patrons. I haven't used Patreon in eons.
          
          7. "So what DID you like?" 
          ....hardly anything except for Skye. She deserves a better story and a better character arc than the trash draft she was given first. 
          
          8. "Hey, genius, what about Consoulia Chronicles?" 
          Thank you for asking. It's still in the works, but Project: Rose (placeholder name) has 90% of my attention as of now. I promise there'll be more Consoleoid shenanigans and action in the future.

          You might be wondering where The Ultimate Car Enthusiast has gone. Do not fret, it hasn’t been deleted. I’m planning on moving my story to a new website to reach a broader audience. 
          
           
          As soon as I publish chapters there, I shall provide the link in another announcement. If for some reason this doesn’t work out, I can just publish my book here again.

Been a while since I updated. Chapter 44 has gone through some changes. 
          
          -Fixed inconsistencies
          -The original writing was around 1,000 words. I expanded the word count to 3,000 words, so if you don't read the expansion, you're gonna be confused. 
          
          That's about it.
