Uh guys so this dude I'm going to a mini prom thing with (had a crush on him for a while but then he started dating another girl but they broke up and we we're both kinda left without dates so we're going as friends, altho I don't rlly know him well) recently texted me that we should go ice skating soon. I have a sports tournament then so I denied and even proposed going to the cinema during the week but he just said we could go another time. The problem? - I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ICE SKATE And it's not like it'll be wholesome either if he's gonna be teaching me cuz I'm taller than the guy (sad, but I'm taller than most guys anyway) so he won't be able to catch me if I fall and I'm scared it would be rlly akward if he'll have to teach me. I really appreciate how he's trying to get to know me but this is not the way to go man and idk if he gets that
When I saw him at school today we had a brief talk in the hallway and I mentioned I can't rlly skate but idk if he heard that cuz the bell rang
Idk what to do guys... Do yall have any good "date" ideas? I wanted to go for ice cream but then I realized it's winter and it would be kinda weird...
