@Malootrager my lil idea for Chimera is that they rival Pandora in the race to make the perfect soldier or super soldier and they succeeded in that, not by Gero's sacred blood but by artificial engineered humans with animal DNA like Gorilla for strength Eagle for eyesight Dog for sense of smell Elephant for memory & other animals for other traits etc, but a twist for this is Chimera is already destroyed by what their own creations and only a few "Arti-men are alive and roaming the world

And how I imagine it works would be this individual reveals himself to Gero and everyone and proves it but using Resonance and brings them to the Sacred realm afterwards his plan is in motion, but linking his blood to Gero's and activating his Sacred Possession the posion is drawn out of Gero's body into his and has his body start breaking down, Erika would then give Gero her blood granting him back his Nishizumi status but the other person will perish and he states this his way of atonement for his ancestor's mistakes. 
            
            That's my idea 

I wonder for the history of the Nishizumi family has there been people who were castout disowned exiled  like Miho bur unlike Miho who was allowed back into the family could there be one in the past who never returned  if so that could mean there are other people with Nishizumi blood in their vains but they just don't know, I think this would be a interesting twist for how Gero could get his Secred blood back

And on thought idea I had for this character is depending on what vehicle he operates because you said there's planes in this story anyway Vinnie can cover or possess his let's say plane with demonic flsmes, it's like marvels Ghost Rider when he possesses his motorbike becoming the Hellcycle or that truck in Ghost Rider 2, this is to show just how strong and dangerous he is, he's also a monster in hand to hand combat

Now how is Vinnie immune to corruption is because the Dark Vinnie is corruption for the light side Vinnie but since that half died there's only the dark corruption side left in his body, Vinnie would display the ability to reverse any corruption effect on someone else just by blasting his own darkness into the corrupted persons body and mind freeing them permanently with no lingering after effects from the corruption

Vinnie's dark side has all the memories of his light side and has the same feelings towards those he loved, on that dark night Vinnie vows to get stronger anyone else so he can protect those he loves, the Dark Vinnie's personality was a lil evil and destructive but over the years he mellowed out but is still the darkness he's always been, he would develop feelings for (insert future girl character) and eventually would tell her and show her his pure darkness haterad and rage to her but she stays with him
