Merry Christmas to all of you who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and those who don’t. May your Christmas be spent with love and joy and may your time with your loved ones be cherished.
Allow me to give you all something that has helped me, because it might help someone else.
Dear Brother and Sister, brother or sister, dear brother, dear sister, whoever you might be. It is never too late to repent of your sins and return to Christ. There is no scorn waiting for you from the Heavenly Father, there is no “Argh, you foolish punk sinner. To hell with you!”
There is just a Father desperately wanting their child to return to them.
Whether you are a thief, a liar, a cheater, a murderer— whether you are absolute scum of the earth or the cleanest, purest individual, God still loves you, just not the cheating, lying, fornicating and the other sins we know you do.
Repent of your sins (and repentance doesn’t mean apologize and keep doing it. It is earnestly desiring to do better). If you sin after repentance, repent again and keep moving forward. We are imperfect and our standard is perfection. God knows that isn’t an easy standard to live up to, it’s why he’s made it so easy to be washed of our sins and be cleaned again so long as we remain in His presence and not fall back into temptation. If you fall, walk back to him and let’s try not doing it again. Rinse and repeat whenever it happens.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is willing to forgive even Satan, should he come to repentance, apologize for his ways, quit being so stubborn and prideful, and never do it again. He is definitely willing to forgive you.
God Bless you all, brothers and sisters, believers and nonbelievers. It is never too late to unite with God. There is no sin in the universe the God that created the universe can’t overcome.
