What was the Kalmar Union?

A Union between Sweden, Norway and Denmark, ruled by the Danish king. Iceland was part of Norway and Finland was part of Sweden.
The union lasted from 1397 'til 1523.

Denmark is not like he is in the anime.
He will be more serious, brutal and colder. He also will be especially mean to Sweden/Finland.
