Um, good day all. This is the first time I'm posting a message, so I'm kinda nervous and have no hopes for this, but here goes anyways. To my followers who writes books, please help me. I'm an author of a small account on an app called Wit and I write bts fanfics there. I was happily going through my day when I saw a notification of someone I was following, a big account with 3K followers. She writes great books, but I was really shocked and confused when I saw the notification. It was a book of similar name to a recent book I'm currently writing. Mine is called '24 Wishes', a Yoongi x Jimin fanfic, whereas hers is '22 Wishes', a Yoongix Jungkook fanfic. When I clicked on it, I was extremely shocked and upset. The first chapter of hers was very similar to mine. The first thing that came to my mind was plagiarism, but I didn't want to accuse her of anything. I private messaged her and asked her about it, and she said she did get her book idea of mine. What made me really upset was that the fact that she just took off my idea, didn't tell me, and made a fanfic of her own just like that, and it's being noticed much more than mine. I know I'm being very selfish and childish and I myself hate myself for it. She apologised for it but I can't help but to feel this way. I felt honoured for me to inspire someone like her but honestly I pained my heart to see her views and likes just shooting up. I couldn't even write for days. I'm not trying to say I'm not satisifed with the no. of views or likes I have, nor am I saying I want to be like her. It's great to be noticed, but I prefer it this way, rather than to steal someone's idea off and make it their own. Dear authors please help me, if something like this were to happen to you how would you feel and what would you do? I'm trying my best to stay strong, but honestly it's not really working... Sorry to disturb you. Will delete this if it flops. Have a good day

@scoupsyouintomyarms I was too scared to report the story before, because I wasn't sure of what kind of person she was. I messaged her about it and she gave me a shoutout the next chapter she posted, but no one really came to my profile and checked my story out... Well nevertheless thank you so much for replying me :')

@YesHunney Oh I see.. I understand. After I spoke to her, she said she would give me a shout out on her next chapter and she did, but it seemed really unsincere, like I was making her do it. I was too scared to report it, but I think I will do so now. Thank you so much for telling me this :)

@KoooooksMagicShop Are you able to report the story? Or just post a comment on her story that you have the original one and hers is nearly a copy, so that people know to go to your profile instead?
