Hello and welcome. I'm Korlain (but feel free to call me Laini) and I am an aspiring author and professional procrastinator. Thus far I only have one story on this site, but I plan to put up more once I finish the current one. Writing is really my one true passion and I hope you enjoy reading my work as much as I enjoy writing it.
So, some stuff about me:
I am, in fact, a human being and live on planet Earth. My hobbies include writing, reading, drawing, knitting, costuming, and other various weird things (rock collecting being one of them). I don't really have a favorite book, as it changes on an almost day to day basis. Today's favorite book is...Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I can pick three favorite movies: Scent of a Woman, The Imitation Game, and The Godfather. 
My music tastes are sort of all over the place but when I write I usually listen to Two Steps From Hell, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana. When I am just hanging out I'll usually listen to the radio. 
And finally, my preferred TV shows. Here we go. I watch (or have watched) Modern Family, Blackish, Merlin, Agents of SHEILD, The 100, Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Being Human, Firefly, Supernatural, Steven Universe, and Adventure Time.
