How do you guys tell where you belong?

@Korralil when you're where you belong you'll just know. Sometimes it's right off the bat and sometimes it takes time but you will know without the shadow of a doubt that's where you're meant to be.

if anyone has had an internal debate between following you head vs your heart I need your help.
          My heart says to fight for the person I love even if its against him himself 
          While my head is telling me to let me go and be in pain for a year.
          Which should I follow and which did any of you follow?

Need of help. Turns out a ex bf I had irl not only lied about who he was but also mentally abused me. Any suggestions on how to heal?
