Den Freunden

          Des Menschen Tage sind verflochten,
          die schönsten Güter angefochten,
          es trübt sich auch der frei'ste Blick;
          du wandelst einsam und verdrossen,
          der Tag verschwindet ungenossen
          in abgesonderten Geschick.

          Wenn Freundesantlitz dir begegnet,
          so bist du gleich befreit, gesegnet,
          gemeinsam freust du dich der Tat.
          Ein Zweiter kommt, sich anzuschließen,
          mitwirken will er, mitgenießen;
          verdreifacht so sich Kraft und Rat.

          Von äußerm Drang unangefochten,
          bleibt, Freunde, so in eins verflochten,
          dem Tag gönnet heitern Blick!
          Das Beste schaffet unverdrossen;
          Wohlwollen unsrer Zeitgenossen,
          das bleibt zuletzt erprobtes Glück.

I would like to give shout-out to The Hunchback´s trilogy written by @LynaForge . Each part can be read as a stand-alone.
          If you like old fairy tales and myths, try it, because it´s worth of your time. It´s a light reading, here and there bittersweet, but the concept and the message are unforgettable.

I would like to give three summer shout-outs to three hidden literary gems.

          Firstly, Parlor Tricks written by @0liviaRose436 . If you´re looking for classic writing, great plot, old cars and music, it will certainly enthral you.

          Secondly, For My Next Trick... written by @LynaForge . Although it´s a sequel to Perception, it could be read as a stand-alone. It´s a light reading, even I would call it a cute romance, but since it´s Lyna´s book it doesn´t miss humanity, emphathy and connection with real world.

          Thirdly, Life Rarely Ends Well written by @Violetta712 . It´s a collection of short stories and if you know Prague, you shouldn´t miss it. It´s full of the city spirit, old times and classic writing.

Hi,
          Thank you so much for the follow and reading my books! Hope you're enjoying them. :) I read in your bio that you're a silent reader, but I just had to stop by and say something as you're one of the few people that are actually reading my stories. So thanks once again.

Hi @Violetta712 ,
            you´re welcome! I definitely enjoy your writing! Otherwise I wouldn´t hit the star ;). Thank you for sharing it!
            @LynaForge recommended your work because you vividly and realistically described Prague Genius loci in Life Rarely Ends Well, so without her, I´m afraid, I wouldn´t find you and your works.

Second shout-out for In The Rough Awards hosted by @LynaForge and @ANHorton1227.
          They have enough judges and now they need a few more participants to start judging!

@The_Mafia_Gal Well, still hats off to you.
            Speaking from experience most people who don´t understand the language of the extract are usually too shocked by graphemes and "run away" with words like "And which language would do this to Latin script?" or "What a crazy pronunciation". And I have to say that I´m surprised by improvement of google translate standarts. Last time I had used the tool, it still had had problems translating (at very least) slavic declension.

            Honestly, my wattpad library is "covered with dust", last quarter I didn´t have much energy to look for some good stories here.

@KoskenkorvAla Indeed it is and it's a rather frightening development.

            In regard to the first, I - entirely without shame - admit that I dropped by to stalk your reading lists to see if I can find some inspiration and in regard to the second, I - with quite some shame - admit that I used google translate to solve the mystery. :D

@The_Mafia_Gal It is. Right now I have a feeling that history is repeating itself once again.

            First BY THE WAY: till now I thought that if I don´t allow to announce new post, nobody notices it.
            Second BY THE WAY: I didn´t expect that someone would understand the text (Although I usually use the wall to remind myself of something, I use it also as a tool to repel ads by using foreign languages), so thumbs-up for puzzling-out!

I would like to give a shout-out to Flytrap written by @MaskedParkers.

          Surprisinly, I´m no fan of Dracula´s theme and no diehard supporter of superhero comics, but I had read author´s Delirium and simply I believed that I will like this story too.
          The author managed both to overcome the invisible barier of the original and keep the vibes of its atmosphere.
          MaskedParkers´s portray of Gotham and its citizens is fully-fledged, colourful and truly HERS. She obviously knows what story she wants to tell and she´s not afraid of using riddles, hints and words (in this case I mean the plant motif).

@MaskedParkers I take your point, but since I´m quite a silent reader and non-native english speaker I think I need to let my impression of the story to settle down to find the proper words.
