Hey folks!
Juuust a quick question. Should I just-remove the Lucani species' existence within the worldbuilding? The species on the first version of the novel was initially just a self insert to promote the original open species fursona by ZestyLemons and they're completely unrelated to the original plot (and lore) of the Sojourn audio drama franchise. Since putting them on a fanfic that is essentially a whole country isekai just wouldn't make sense.

My apologies for... quite the lack of activity.
For the past few months life's been busy for me—per usual, but now that my part time job is transitioning into a full time, I've been getting frequent tight weekly schedules and found myself having to multitask (totally not of my request to my manager). Top of that is my Uni schedule ramming into it and that gave me too little time to do what I personally like. Being autistic with intense shifts in hyperfixation doesn't help much either—oftentimes my interest in something swings into another, then overtime everything I planned on my previous interests gets forgotten from my mind—that uh, explains how my writing slows down from here.
Gladly enough it's summer break for my Uni and there wouldn't be another semester until september (—which I only just realized the existence of my novel this early August...), so I might have enough time to do something with my novel.
Speaking of—after watching a few several guide videos in writing a worldbuilding, I came to realize how—severly lacking and bland my novel was in my perspective. And so, I'm planning for a rewrite of the novel entirely, the main concept of Nihonkoku Shoukan will be kept though, since this is the main core I took inspiration for my novel's plot as a whole.
