Since I was a kid I loved the arts and had an imagination that prevented me from paying attention in school. Today they call it a.d.d. back then a daydreams. Before texting for things like dyslexia and dysgraphia. I was considered poor concentration, terrible speller, grammar illiterate and master of the page long run on sentences.
However my dad loves to listen to my story and dreams and he always encouraged me in art. He on many occasions told me to write my dreams down because they would make amazing books but I struggled with writing my thoughts out.
When he passed away in 1991 I put aside art and journaling until 2008. When I saw twilight I was reminded that I had an imagination. I may not be good enough to write a motion picture but I wanted to write out one of my many crazy dreams in memory of my dad who always encouraged me.
I've been woeking on this story since I got home from the movie and have learned so much and still have a lot to learn about writing.
