The plot of My enemy, My mate was good but there were things that would have made the book even more good. Why did they keep on trying to sacrifice themselves so much when they didn't need to? Why didn't she become overwhelmed with emotions when death was mentioned in the courtroom and start screaming about the death of her baby? It seemed like her father's bad deeds were just left unspoken, like he never did those things? How couldn't Jackson think of a plan to counter her father's doings? Alpha's are usually depicted as possessive, aggressive, cunning if you will, Jackson is none of that. He doesn't fit the criteria of a Alpha, his character feels more like a lower ranked wolf in his pack. He's so helpless. The fight that killed her father was also...yeah no. Unrealistic. Her body was suppose to be weak, she is in recovery from starving herself for long periods of time and recovering from the beating she recieved. With her father being the Alpha and Gary being the Beta, she HAD to have multiple broken bones and that takes a while to heal. All of that combined should have killed her.
