I write for business, and I write for fun. The fun of writing for me starts in the deep thicket of words. I like to tuck in a hidden meaning now and again, give the reader who enjoys word play and subtlety something to look for. Somehow I got started writing so-called children's stories, but I tend to say my stories are for kids in the way that Bullwinkle and Pogo are for kids. The age of the reader isn't as important as your willingness to entertain some silliness in pursuit of something important. Or not. Making fun of things is sometimes the best way to make sense of them, after all.

I have self-published one book, "Mr. Clutterbuck and a Matter of Time," that is part fantasy and part allegory on the risks of churning through Earth's resources as if our world was just a big bag o' potato chips made merely for our consumption.
