In case if you guys have missed the news that’s spreading on social media, legendary manga artist Akira Toriyama, the creator of the iconic Dragon Ball franchise, sadly passed away. To me, he was like the Stan Lee of manga, and not only that he was a Titan in anime and manga, but he was also the man that inspired and entertained all generations. 
          
          I remember watching DBZ Kai on Nicktoons as a kid, I saw it on TV back then and that was how I first watched the series. I couldn’t remember details, but I know it got into me. 
          
          Without DBZ, anime would not have broken into the West, and there wouldn’t be Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and many other shonen mangas that are popular right now. 
          
          RIP Akira ❤️ You will be remembered.
