My filing cabinet attacked me. Here I am, at home, cleaning my office and organizing my paperwork, when SUDDENLY my filing cabinet drawer decided to unlock itself and open all the way before falling out.
On top of my head.
Because I was kneeling down to get something out of the bottom drawer. I need an aspirin and an ice pack, whatthefuck-

And you’re like sure you locked it? Even if it sliding open while unlocked is normal (it isn’t but we can suspend our disbelief for a sec) if it’s locked then it wouldn’t be able to be opened at all let alone with like gravity or ghosts or whatever else. Is there something on the handle of the drawer that opens it on its own? Like if you have something on the handle that weighs it down enough maybe it could plausibly open ‘on it’s own’ and depending on the type of filing cabinet it is, if something is weighing it down it could also maybe prevent it from locking correctly? Check that out maybe.. and also check the actual closing mechanism if you can, if its not locking or closing right at all that could explain some things…
And while it would solve the question of if you are haunted or if there’s something else that caused the drawer to open, there is another question to be answered: ARE YOU OKAY NOW???? That sounds really painful is it still sore or are you okay now after a bit of time? I’m sorry you were ambushed by your haunted filing cabinet that’s really rude (If you really do have ghost or ghosts then i could maybe give an idea or two on how to make a truce or to bully them out of your furniture (still not actually 100% on if filing cabinets are furniture.. do you think they are?? Idk) if you want)

Office tip #1: If you don’t have your own mini fridge in your office, then make sure you put your name on any of your food items. There will be office poachers, and they WILL eat first and ask questions later. (I was a victim of this all of three times when I was a newbie.) Office tip #2: Never, /ever/ assume that a closed door will keep everyone out. It’s a decent deterrent, but always expect to be walked in on. If you’re lucky enough to have an assistant/secretary right outside your office- shout out to my personal assistant- then it is less likely that you will be disturbed without warning, but once again; not a guarantee. Office tip #3: Be nice. BE NICE. Treat everyone with respect, no matter how far below you they are on the metaphorical food chain and office hierarchy.. that one is honestly both an office tip, AND something you should do in your everyday life. Anyway thanks for coming to my TED talk. I’ll be here to answer all your office worker questions. //Wow, you almost sound like a professional. ;3 I am one! @Acrylic_User Hana is amazing, and I love her. She does bring me coffee sometimes, but I don’t ask her to. I’ll get us coffees on my way to the office sometimes as well- I get bonus points if I can bag a raspberry danish for her as well. I do in fact have a coffee machine in my office though. I have a nice space set aside for it in the corner, and it looks rather professional if I do say so myself.

My assistant sometimes allows me to live vicariously through her, but I am generally just exiled from that side of things. (And thank you, it’s good to be back. x)
