@_Night-AlphaLes_ To be honest, I haven't really given a thought to why I name their daughter after Diana's mother. But it would have been Beatrix (the founder of the Cavendish family) or Bernadette (Diana's mother). In my second book (the first book is posted in AO3 but I'll try to post it here after I finish chapter 3 and 4 of that story), Diana and Akko would have named their daughter Beatrix but due to Diana's emotions full of love and adoration, the name accidentally slipped after having a short glimpse of her mother and the baby is happily giggling at her name. In the end, the two decided that they should name their daughter after Diana's mother. So for your question yes, Diana named her daughter after Diana's mother.
