          I'm back from hiatus, sorry I didn't plan on it being that long, but I've got a new book for y'all!!!

          2 Timothy 2:4 
          "No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer."
          
          Do what God wants, not what the world wants.

          1 Timothy 5:5
          "The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help."
          
          That stood out to me because it often takes the really really tough situations and circumstances for us to fully rely on God. It shouldn't take the really really hard stuff. It should be second natural to trust God with everything.

          1 Timothy 4:16
          "Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."
          
          Even if it seems like people aren't watching what you're doing and if it seems like they don't really see who you are, know that someone out there has noticed and is watching you. Not in a creepy way in a way like a role model. Set a good example and show them Jesus.

          Sorry I haven't really been on top of verse of the day lately. I will try to get back into the swing of things.

Verse of the day:
          
          1 Timothy 1:8-11
          "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me."
          
          Reasons why these verses stood out to me:
          1) the first sentence,"we know that the law is good is one uses it properly." People (like politicians) like twisting the law so that they can do what they want. We shouldn't do that. *Duh 
          2) God sees sin as equal. He sees it from the top view where everything is just sin in different colors. We see sin from the side view with levels.
