Good morning, readers!
I'm aware that I haven't spoken much through posts and the like, as I just never know what to say. This is why I'm not in a promotional profession.
Although I have been posting my chapters somewhat regularly for some months, there is still a lack of activity or buzz. I have realized that it's not just the story itself that helps gain engagement.
I want to try to interact more with those who have read my work, even if it's only been a few chapters. I'd like to hear from you about whatever you can come up with in response to what you've read, such as maybe who's your favorite character, or any foreshadowing theories that tickle your brain.
As I mentioned in my profile description, I am new to this and would be more than happy to receive some feedback. Perhaps I'll start posting pictures of the characters, though AI certainly hasn't done me much favors in capturing just the right look through my many attempts.
I'm aware that my chapters during the early months were... rough, which could also be in part of the lack of engagement. Over the past couple of months, I have carefully edited all my chapters to help them flow much more smoothly, and also changed a few minor details that will ultimately benefit the story in the long run. And as far as I know, there is no notification about such things on the reader's end, just mine. If you had read some chapters some time ago and turned away from the desperately needed rework, I implore you to give them another read.
I was thinking of doing a Q&A, though I'm not sure at what milestone. 50 followers maybe?
Anyway, let's hope that being a bit more personable with you, readers, will raise engagement and give Servitude a bit more attention, and gain some insight from you.
