A few weeks or so back i convinced myself to start journaling, and just like- just set up smth, and see how it goes, and i forgot abt it for a while, but about 2 days ago i remembered and for the past 3 days or so i’ve been journaling tandom things in it, and im really proud of myself, becuase i ACTUALLY gave myself a choice to be silly and fuck things up and draw and write down my feelings and not be scared someone will read it, and if they do without my permission that’s THEIR fucking fault, because they shouldn’t have fuckin been snooping, and when they realized it’s my personal journal they should put it the fuck down.

sometimes you just need to take off your headphones and listen to the birds and the crickets, the crunch if gravel under your shoe, the laughter of the kids you passed earlier who were playing some dumb game and almost chased a ball into the road, the ones who staired at your hair the first time you passed and waited for you to continue playing to not accidentally hit you, the neighbors next to your house with their family over all hanging out on the porch and the kids are playing in the lawn, the moments that stop and make you want to live, and cry and be happy and have a life.
