@Dyzle_chan yes yes I really liked the concept of this game lol, love how their are leaving in that region generationally, if you have issues In the beginning i don't think playing other gen game will help coz they don't have story connection, every game has their own story.

@Dyzle_chan Yes. Rei is Lucas's ancestor, much like Akari is Dawn's. Some of the characters in Arceus are hinted to be related to either the Sinnoh gym leaders or other gym leaders from future titles. Lian, I believe, is Clay's ancestor from Black and White. Volo and Cogita are ancestors of Cynthia, whereas Gaeric could be related to Crasher Wake or Wulfric from X and Y. Played Pearl, but never beat it.

But as this is related to the sinhon region maybe you should play "Pokemon diamond and Pearl" or have you played it before? but it's said that rei is the ancestor of lucas who is the mc of diamond and pearl
